Good afternoon Ladies and Gentleman and welcome to Thursday Transfer Talks.
Are first bit of transfer news comes from White Hart Lane. With Tattenham letting manager of nearly six years go, new manager Jose Mourinho! looks to strengthen his new team for the better. Bruno Fernandes was a big transfer target for Spurs and Man United over the summer but he decided to remain with Sporting Lisbon. However with rumors of Christian Eriksen being a big transfer target for some of the top clubs this january transfer window it seems that Tottenham need to start looking for a replacement for the Danish superstar. With Bruno Fernandes scoring 14 goals and getting 6 assists all for club and country this season could he be the answer to spurs rough start to the season as they currently sat in 14th position. As Mourinho has already expressed his admiration for the 25 year old saying “I was surprised by the season of Bruno Fernandes,” he told Eleven Sports in the summer. It was easy to predict quality, he is a very good player, but scored a very high number of goals for a midfield player. It shows that you need to have instinct and qualities to score and he has it all. He strikes the ball well, heads well, cool when he is one-on-one with the goalkeeper. He finds space in the penalty area. It’s all there.” Could we see Bruno Fernandes become apart of Jose Mourinho’s Yid Army or will the Red devil’s snatch him from under Jose’s feet?.
Next we will be talking about the up and coming star Ferran Torres who has a handful of top tear clubs fighting for his signature on the dotted line. With Valencia CF having a £89m buy out clause set on the 19 year old it will be a lot of money for the teams to fork out for the youngster. However would a move to a bigger team be the right move for Ferran Torres although Valencia CF are sat a 9th position right now, i feel that it would be in his best interest to stay at the club to gain a little more experiences. At this point in time the clubs that have been rumored to be interested in the spaniard are teams such as Liverpool, Juventus and Borussia Dortmund. With the youngster playing 14 games so far for club and scoring 2 and assisting 1 is he ready for a step up to a top flight team. However the youngster did play very, very well for country in their 5-0 win over Romania on monday.
United now looking to sign the Norwegian wonderkid Erling Haaland and persuade the youngster to come and play at Old Trafford. However the deal doesn’t seem to be going in United’s favour, with recent rumors of Haaland’s father telling him to snub the deal and look for a move to the Bundesliga. With the RB Salzburg player being one of the most sort after player right now after scoring 26 goals in just 18 appearance and having scored 7 goals in only 4 champions league appearances. reports have come out saying that the youngster could cost around 85m. However there are so many clubs interested in the youngster Liverpool, Man city, Napoli, Bayern Munich, Juventus, Barcelona and of course Real madrid. However i don’t feel that a move to the premier league would be the right choice for the youngster well not right now at least. he would be more suited to a move to the german league as i believe that this would fit his play style more as a player. With the youngster being born in leeds england we could see the youngstar being a future England player.
The final piece of transfer news for this week is about manchester united yet again as they look to acquire the talent of 22 year old James Madison. Although the englishman is rumored to re-sign with leicester. People close to Madison have said that he isn’t as close as people would think to signing a new contract with the rumor that he might leave it to the end of the season to decide his future. With United signing Madison’s ex teammate and national teammate Harry Maguire and with the two being close friends could this give maddison the incentive to move to the red side of manchester. with Madison being priced around 40m but seeing the price that maguire going for and how well Madison is playing and how he controls the game for Leicester we could see him go for double his rumored price. With madison playing 13 games this season and having 6 goals and 2 assists its safe to say he is playing well. But my question is why would you want to move from a team that is currently sat in 2nd place to a team who are in 7th and could get lower?.
